Why does Berube keep playing Giroux and Voracek that limited ice time. This is ridiculous and stupid. I really think Berube is making a error in this series and it's becoming costly.

Yes they don't play the PK (Giroux does sometimes a little) and we get a lot of penalties. (4 tonight) so that reduces ice time.

But we had more powerplays (5 pp tonight) And we know Giroux is on there with Voracek for around 1min - 1:20.

Giroux 17min (in game 1 and 3)
Voracek (13:50 tonight)

Couturier (20min for almost every game this series)
Read (19:30 TONIGHT)

Your best players have to get minutes to win. This is insane chief. He holds the Giroux line on the bench until Girardi and McDonagh take a seat but they jump back out 30 seconds later.

Stop playing the matchups game and play your best players. Giroux needs to play 20-22min MINUMUM if your down 3-1 in a playoff game. This is unreal. Giroux plays 17 min tonight, with 5 min on the powerplay, so 12 min 5 on 5.

Giroux is our best faceoff guy and we have to admit Couturier has to improve.
Giroux 68 %FO tonight Couturier FO% 47% 36% 28% (last 3 games)

Put Giroux on the defensive zone faceoff with Couturier and Read. Double shift captain G on other lines giving us a chance to win more faceoffs and have him attack with other wingers. Be more creative or stop all together the matchup bs and focus on the system and give back Giroux minutes to our captain.

I just read Mason was ready to play tonight and they went with Emery still. Try Mase a practice hard and in warmups and decide then. I love Ray but he wasn't sharp tonight. He did steal game 2 but if Mase your best goalie is ready you put him in there.

I love Berube and how he handles the team, system, etc. But man I think he is doing horrible moves and taking bad decisions in the playoffs.

The game was lost in the PP set up. I'm sick of their lack of creativity and puck movement.
